COMET-Farm is a greenhouse gas inventory tool designed to estimate a reduction in emissions or carbon sequestered based on conservation scenario analysis specifically to within the farm gate. The COMET-Team is solely involved in the tool (maintenance of methods, models, and software and outreach such as helping users engage with the tool and providing demonstrations). Again, the team does not advise on carbon credits and value to investors or users, that would be in the wheelhouse of the carbon credit companies.
